REFUND & RETURN POLICY — LA CHAPARRITA LLC

At La Chaparrita LLC, we take pride in our heritage and the quality of our authentic Western wear. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, to maintain our standards and offer fair pricing, we have established the following guidelines for returns and exchanges.

1. 30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 days from the date your item was delivered to request a return or exchange. If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

To ensure a successful return, items must meet the following strict criteria:

  • Original Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in the same condition as received.

  • Tags & Packaging: All original tags, labels, and hygiene seals must be attached.

  • Boot Boxes: For footwear, the original branded boot box is considered a legal part of the product. Do not use the boot box as the shipping box. You must place the boot box inside a separate cardboard shipping box. If a boot box is returned damaged, taped, or labeled, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order number is mandatory.

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS & FINAL SALES

The following items are exempt from being returned:

  • Customized Items: Western hats that have been custom-shaped, stretched, or personalized.

  • Sale & Discounted Items: Any items marked "Final Sale" or purchased using a "Flash Sale" code (greater than 20%).

  • Promotional Bundles: Items purchased as part of a "Buy One Get One" or similar bundle must be returned together.

  • Health & Care Products: Flammable liquids, leather conditioners, hat cleaning sprays, and intimate apparel (socks/undergarments).

  • Gift Cards: Non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.

4. RETURN SHIPPING & RESTOCKING FEES

  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • Original Shipping: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply to returns of high-value items (over $300) to cover inspection and re-stocking labor.

5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • La Chaparrita LLC will cover the return shipping costs for proven defective or incorrect items.

  • Natural variations in leather (grain patterns, slight color shifts) are characteristic of authentic Western products and are not considered defects.

6. EXCHANGES (SPEEDY REPLACEMENT)

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. This ensures the inventory is reserved for you immediately.

7. REFUND TIMELINE & DISCOUNTS

  • Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected at our Columbus, Ohio location, we will send an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Partial Refunds: If you used a discount code (e.g., WELCOME15), you will be refunded the actual amount paid, not the full retail price.

  • Processing: Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days. Note that banks may take additional time to post the transaction.
